Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Registered dietitian and nutrition coach
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I started The Nourished Path in Seattle in the spring of 2020. Great timing - I know! The world was falling to pieces around me and everyone I loved. And I wanted to be there to support them in the best way I knew how: by helping them feel their best and keep their health in the forefront. It’s so easy to get lost in the day to day and let health issues snowball. By starting my own business, I was able to give more personal and deeper service to create the most change.
There are things that you think of with weight loss. Looking great, wearing different clothes, increased confidence. More stamina to keep up with your kids, or to power through a 12 hour Disney day!
It goes beyond that to so much more though. Less guilt. Feeling in control around food, and confident knowing what to choose. Less excess bodyfat that leads to inflammation. More muscle and payoff at the gym. Heck - even things like higher bone density, lower blood sugars, reduced cholesterol, and increased fertility.
That’s why I get up in the morning. That’s what keeps me going. Knowing that I’m changing lives and helping people lead their best ones - right now and in the future.

About me
I’m a Registered Dietitian (RD), with my masters in nutrition from Bastyr University, but originally I went to school at Illinois State University to be a math teacher. It turns out that my calling is to help people in other ways - improving lives through nutrition without using fad diets or cutting out whole food groups!
I was an inpatient hospital dietitian in Seattle before I started working as an online nutrition coach for Stronger U Nutrition, and eventually decided to leave to start my own business.
I like to exercise for mental and physical health dabbling in F45, Orangetheory, and yoga studio workouts as well as at home with a squat rack and peloton. I’m also quite handy, and you are equally as likely to find me using the chop saw or fighting with my nail gun.
Rounding out my jock side is my nerdy side where I play Dungeons & Dragons, swing dance, and argue that Slytherins aren’t all bad.
