  • Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Simple introduction is typically sufficient and happy to discuss before the referral is given. If a review is to follow, it's good for the referrer to have an understanding of what I typically request for a basic review.

All Policies – General Liability, Property, Auto Liability, Excess or Umbrella, Professional Liability Or Errors & Omissions, Management Liability (EPLI, Cyber, Fiduciary, Crime), Workers Compensation, etc.

    Additionally:
o Employee Handbook and Company Policies
o Client contract with the steepest insurance requirements
    o Loss History (5 years)

  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
My wife and my two boys.
  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
    1. When was the last time you saw your premium go down? the fact of the matter is that it wont be going down. This is often best to follow up with how long have you been with the same carrier? I did an exercise taking the last 5 years worth of rate increases and then took an $80k premium account and applied the increases each year. So without doing anything wrong and by just sitting there, they ended up paying 87% more after 5 years.

    2. When your agent came out for the pre-renewal strategy meeting (90-120 days before renewal) to discuss any changes and the strategy for going to market in 2024/25, how did that go?
*There are many agents who don't do these and after Covid, many still take the easy path and try to hold virtual meetings and use email to deliver policies or quotes.

    3. Is a 27%-37% reduction in premium (without sacrificing coverage) worth two hours of your time?
  • Unique Selling Proposition
Simple two-step process with an overall desire to become an extension of their management team.

    1. I take my unique experience and get the best rate without sacrificing coverage.
10 years in my industry. Started working on the agency side where I serviced a book of 1,000 clients and lived in the weeds of insurance. I then transitioned to the carrier side where I represented two different carriers and worked side by side with teams of Underwriters. I was then recruited to back to the agency side. With this experience, I have formulated several processes that all but guarantees I get the best possible output for the client.

    2. I do everything in my power to make them better for working with me.
This can look encompass many things: improving safety, developing better tools around compliance, educating on insurance, enhancing company policies and of course to become their best and most trusted resource when they need referrals
