About me
Mike has over 30 years progressive financial and operational experience. He is a highly driven and successful executive with a unique combination of finance and operations expertise in large entities, private equity backed growth companies, and emerging start-ups. Mike is a strategic leader, tactical planner and conceptual thinker with superb analytic skills. He has experienced proven success achieving aggressive financial and operating objectives with focus on companies in transition or in high growth mode. Mike is broadly experienced in public and private sectors of multi-site healthcare, healthcare technology (SaaS), manufacturing, finance and accounting firms. Especially proficient in the facilitation of development, growth and profitability via equity and debt funding, acquisitions, centralization of business systems, and process improvement.
Mike’s success in a wide range of financial environments; small start-ups to $200 million private equity backed entities, has given him a unique set of skills to help business owners navigate growth and transition. His experience in acquisitions and partnering with owners allows him to provide his clients with valuable insights into the exit process and how to identify and enhance the key value drivers a potential buyer is looking for. He has been on both sides of the process.
His past roles have included Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, V.P of Operations Finance, Group Controller, Controller. Mike has also served as CFO for an angel investor fund that supported a group of 10 tech start-ups that grew from zero to $60 Million in revenues in 24 months.
Mike has been a resident in Nashville, TN area since 2008 where he presently lives with his wife Dawn. Mike has three grown daughters that also live in Nashville.
