What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I practice personal injury law because I believe in the power of advocacy and the importance of helping individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives. When someone is injured in a car crash or loses a loved one due to another's negligence, their world can be turned upside down. They are often overwhelmed, uncertain, and in need of someone who can guide them through the complex legal landscape to ensure they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
My "why" is rooted in a deep sense of justice and empathy. I want to stand up for those who might not have the strength or resources to fight against large insurance companies or navigate the legal system on their own. My background as a claims adjuster gave me insight into how insurance companies operate, and I saw firsthand how easily injured individuals could be undercompensated or overlooked. This experience drove me to become an attorney—to be the advocate who levels the playing field and ensures that my clients' voices are heard.
Ultimately, I practice personal injury law because I am passionate about making a difference in people's lives. I want my clients to focus on their recovery, knowing that they have a dedicated attorney who is fighting for their rights and working tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for them.
Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
CAR CRASH CASES:
1. Were you injured?
2. Was someone else (person or entity) responsible for your injuries?
3. Have you, or do you intend, to seek medical treatment for your injuries?
Note: If no injuries resulted from the car crash, I cannot assist the potential client with their case. However, I can provide a referral to other excellent attorneys.
WRONGFUL DEATH CASES
1. Do you believe someone else (person or entity) was responsible for the death of your loved one?
2. Who do you believe was responsible for the death of your loved one?
** Note: I do not handle medical malpractice cases. Therefore, if the potential client believes that a doctor or medical facility is responsible for their injuries or the death of a loved one, I can provide a referral to other excellent attorneys who handle these cases but I cannot assist the potential client.
Unique Selling Proposition
My unique selling proposition is deeply personal. Before I became an attorney, my younger brother was severely injured in a head-on collision. During that time, I experienced firsthand the frustration, confusion, and emotional toll of dealing with insurance companies while trying to ensure my brother received the care and compensation he deserved. This experience gave me a profound understanding of what it feels like to be in my clients' shoes—navigating a complex and often impersonal system during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
This personal experience, combined with my professional background as a claims adjuster and now as an attorney, gives me a unique perspective and empathy that drives my practice. I know the tactics that insurance companies use to minimize payouts, and I’m relentless in countering those tactics to protect my clients’ rights. My commitment to personalized, client-focused service is not just a professional duty—it's a mission fueled by my own journey through the very challenges my clients face.
This combination of personal experience, insider knowledge, and dedicated advocacy is what truly sets my practice apart. I’m not just fighting for justice; I’m fighting to make sure no one has to go through what my family did without strong, knowledgeable support by their side.
About me
Outside of my practice, I’m a proud mother to an amazing 5-year-old daughter. My family and I live in the beautiful Stevens Pass area, perfectly situated between my two office locations in Monroe and Leavenworth. I grew up locally in Monroe, graduating from Monroe High School. My grandparents lived in Leavenworth where I would spend a significant portion of my summers.
When I am not working, I spend a lot of time outdoors with my family. I enjoy hiking, skiing, sailing, and traveling. We own a sailboat that we often sail during the summer along the West Coast. I have been fortunate to travel all over the world and now enjoy taking my daughter and husband to visit new locations.
