Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Amanda captures the unique relationship between you and your pets. She holds your hand through the entire portrait process to provide customized artwork that showcases the special bond that you share. She knows your pets are like family and will treat them like her own.
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Realizing the importance of commemorating the special relationship with our pets that we can cherish forever. Realizing that more so when adopting my son as a teenager and being able to reflect on the moments he started coming out of his shell and really started to feel as part of the family. Animals really help our mental health, helped my son faster than anything else, and they hold a very special place in our hearts. It's important to me to really cherish the people and pets in our lives that are family in ways that we'll always have them.

How do they decorate their homes? When was their last family portrait done? Have they ever had family portraits that include their pet? Do they have horses and ever had portraits done with their horse?
Unique Selling Proposition
I take the guesswork out of deciding what photos to put on their walls as keepsakes by holding their hand through the entire portrait process. I do all of the ordering through a professional photography lab that is local to the Twin Cities, and I present them the final piece ready to hang on their walls.
About me
I've been working 12+ years as a sign language interpreter and during COVID I decided between interpreting and doing foster care, I needed something for me. That's when I invested in my first camera. I'm self-taught, I volunteer with Ruff Start Rescue, Last Hope Animal Rescue, and Secondhand Hounds (the Bond Between) taking photos of foster pets to help find their forever homes. I have 1 dog and 2 cats that are all rescues. My dog was through Ruff Start Rescue, one cat was found under someone's porch at 6 months old and nobody claimed her until I did, and my other cat was left on the side of the road in a box with other kittens at 6 weeks old. I volunteer at a horse ranch mentoring kids with horses for 9 years now. I've been a huge animal lover since day 1 and was studying wildlife biology before deciding to go into the interpreting field. Now, I can focus on pets and families through the lens of a camera and provide a heartwarming gift that families will love. My goal is for portrait photography to become my full-time job.
