Shane Hicks has a heart for connecting businesses, both Veteran and non-Veteran. He's coached networking teams like NIA for over 10 years and helps place these businesses onto these teams. His non-profit provides scholarships to Veterans in financial need that are building businesses of their own. He's looking for businesses that would like to invest in him by paying for the coaching program themselves or for businesses interested in donating to the Veteran scholarship program. -

My goal is to have a self-funding, self-sustaining non-profit so that I can spend time with my daughter. -

About me
I graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, but early in my military career, I took a blow to the head in hand-to-hand combat training that resulted in two torn retina, a concussion, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and PTSD. After three unsuccessful surgeries, I was unexpectedly medically separated and had to fight for disability benefits using two Veteran Service Organizations and an Attorney. I then struggled with learning how to build a business within my residual capacity while finding employment opportunities for my formerly unemployed military spouse. Together, we learned the power of professional relationship marketing.
Over the past 10 years, my wife and I have helped coach numerous startups and established businesses to follow a proven relationship marketing system in order to grow their businesses. -
