Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Life-long serial entrepreneur, bookkeeper, and cashflow specialist
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I believe small business owners should be able to grow their businesses without the constant struggle of not knowing how their business is really doing, not to mention the sleepless nights spent worrying about where the cash is coming from to pay the bills.
I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and understand what it takes to build a business. I love numbers and business. Let me take care of your numbers so you can take care of your business.
Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
Do you meet with your bookkeeper monthly or at least quarterly to discuss what your financials are saying about your business?
Has your bookkeeper ever built and sold a business? Wouldn't it be valuable for your bookkeeper to be a serial entrepreneur?
Does your bookkeeper help you strategize how to grow your business?
About me
I am a 3rd generation entrepreneur. I grew up in my family's grocery store, wrecker service, mobile home park, and trucking company.
I always loved the operations and numbers in business, so I got an accounting degree, knowing I could build any business I wanted if I understood the numbers.
I spent 20 years after college focused on building our trucking company. In 2007, we sold our trucking company and grocery store, and my entire family retired.
After realizing retirement was not for me, I decided to build a business to help small businesses do what we did.... build businesses they love that make them great money and give them the freedom they desire. I started my consulting firm, Decisive Minds, in 2010 and then began to realize the struggle business owners were having with not knowing or trusting their numbers. I then opened Bottom Line Bookkeeping Solutions to help business owners feel confident in their numbers.
If we are already connected online, you may recognize me as Michele Scism. :)
I love to dance. I used to be a competitive country western dancer, and now I dance for fun. I recently started bowling which is super fun even though I am not that good at it. LOL I collect Santas (my current count is 78), and above all, I love to play with my grandkids.
