Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Carrie Pierce
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Serving is my why. I seek to be a blessing to everyone.
About me
I grew up in a very small town in Northwest Minnesota on the ND/MN border. I learned to treat everyone with respect and to work hard no matter the job/career. Family is most important to me and I have been married for over 31 years. I was an only child but had very close relationships with cousins that became like my siblings. I have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandkids. I also have a rambunctious puppy named Cash and a cat named Chester. In my spare time, I teach a dance fitness class that has been a source of great joy and mental well-being in addition to being good for the body.
My career has given me a great variety of experiences. Including one of my most proud moments when I won a telly award for a local production that I oversaw called, "Keep the Faith". I wanted to be a choreographer when I was little but growing up in northwest Minnesota didn't give me a lot of opportunities to go far with that. I am grateful to have been introduced and welcomed into a dance fitness community and that they allow me to create and lead class!
My husband and I are childhood sweethearts. I have memories of him from the time I was 8 years old. In fact, at the wise age of 9, I declared that I was going to marry him someday. We will celebrate 32 years this year.
I played drums in middle/early high school. I had an amazing music teacher that believed whole heartedly in my ability but sadly, I did not stick with it. I love music and have passed that on to my kids.
Hobbies and interest
Being in my kitchen, exercising, spending any amount of time with my grandkids and being at our lake place. I am a copywriter nerd. I am always rewriting and editing stuff! I like to think of it as my superpower that I am still growing and developing.
