My mission is to develop a healthy Digital Ecosystem in the Caribbean through technological and educational innovations.
My work focuses on building the capacity of youth and women so they can become professionals and entrepreneurs in the Digital Economy. I believe that by focusing on human resource development in this digital era, we are able to create sustainable impact that will result in the diversification of our Caribbean economy. And by focusing on women and youth we can create a more inclusive ecosystem and address the sustainable development goals Gender Equality, Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth.

About me
I am an ICT Entrepreneur born and raised in Suriname, a Futures Thinker with a firm believe in the potential of the Caribbean to become the world's best region.
I am an optimist and the world's best Mousi (mom's sister) to my 6 nieces and nephew; not just their best friend but also a trainer to teach them 21st century skills.
I am also an award-winning Caribbean business leader, recognised for my ICT entrepreneurship, advocacy and action for a creative and digital economy ecosystem in the region and for more women and girls in ICT.
Most recently, in 2022, I became the first laureate of the prestigious Anthony N Sagba Awards from outside of the English-speaking Caribbean, in the category Public & Civic Contributions. In sept 2022 I won the Global Leadership Women in Tech® Award.
In addition to serving as President of Creative Tech Hub Caribbean, I am also CEO of Spang Makandra, Founder 21Q Caribbean, and Co-founder of Cloud Engine, Digital Talents Academy and Creative Talents Foundation, the five entities of our Information and Communication Technology Hub.
