About me
I am a CPA with over 18 years of experience in the Denver area. I started out my career in public accounting as an auditor for Rothstein Kass, a national firm who specialized in hedge fund audits. From there I went on to work for the Janus Henderson Investors, a publicly traded company in Cherry Creek, where I worked in fund accounting (on the mutual fund side) and corporate accounting (on the publicly traded accounting and financial reporting side). After that I joined Western Union's headquarters on the regulatory reporting team. Afterward, I went back to my roots as an auditor and worked on hedge fund, private equity fund, and crypto fund audits with some of my former Rothstein Kass colleagues who had joined Richey May and Co.
After many years in the corporate environment, I decided to take the plunge as an entrepreneur and am now owner of a Jackson Hewitt tax office in Lakewood, CO where I help individuals and business owners with their tax needs. -
