I was a stay at home mom for 10 years to our 4 kiddos. During this time I educated myself on all the hazardous chemicals in our cleaning products, environment, food, etc. I knew 2 things: I wanted to go back to work (but I wanted the flexibility to be there for my kids) and I did wanted to educate people on the harmful effects of toxic chemicals. I did a little research and at the time there was not a "green" housekeeping company in Fort Bend County; this Simply Clean & Green was born. For me, it is not only cleaning people's homes, it is about being part of a community, getting to know people who live in your neighborhood and doing something good all at the same time.
About me
I am originally from Michigan. My husband PJ and I moved here in 2002 with our oldest daughter Olivia who is now 18. We are both graduates of the University of Michigan. We have 3 other children; Emily-15, Chloe-13 and Sam-11. They keep us busy and are a huge part of why I do what I do. Our house is always busy with kids, activities, not to mention 3 dogs and a tortoise named Tucker. On our downtime we make it a priority to travel as a family. Our summer is a 2 week road trip to wherever we decide! Thanksgiving usually takes us to Disney and Spring Break to the beach! Our oldest is off to college in the fall and has decided to attend UT. Hard to believe, but here we go. She and her sisters are attending Incarnate Word Academy and all 4 kids have attended St. Laurence Catholic school is Sugar Land. This has been our village in raising these kids. We have lived in Sienna Plantation for 10 years now and the community has been amazing for us. My husband is partners in a recycled golf ball company in Sugar Land. That is what moved us here. We landed where we belonged because without this community I could not do what I do!
