About me
Dr. Scott McKneely Blanchard is a Christian author, and certified speaker, trainer, and coach for the John Maxwell Team and Lead Educator- CEO of the Real Lions Leadership Team in the United States. Scott has spent 11 years teaching in the public school system, mostly teaching social studies classes. Scott received his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in Educational Leadership where he published a study “Teachers as Leaders: An Autoethnographic Account Into the Way that Personal Spirituality Influenced One Teacher’s Leadership in a South Louisiana High School” which was nominated for dissertation of the year in the state of Louisiana. Missing Lion is the adaptation of that study. Dr. Blanchard has already begun his second and third manuscript at the time of Missing Lion’s first print, both Christian based leadership titles.
Dr. Scott resides in Southwest Louisiana with his wife Holly of 16 years, and three children Aniston, Peyton-James, and Owen. After completing his Ph.D. Dr. Scott left the public school classroom to pursue his dream of being an author and speaker of God’s word. He enjoys the fact that he can now drop off and pick up all of his kids from their respective schools; and although he left the football sideline to pursue higher academic degrees, he still plans to coach recreational soccer with his sons, and support the Jeff Davis Arts Council with his daughter.
