Hi, I’m Heather Kowalski, a photographer with over 20 years of experience in capturing meaningful moments and telling authentic stories through images. My journey started in the U.S. Air Force, where I learned discipline, attention to detail, and a strong sense of service—qualities that have shaped both my personal life and professional work.
After my time in the military, I found myself in Las Vegas, where I spent over 16 years honing my craft in photography and media operations. Working with top-tier hospitality, conventions, and event spaces, I developed a passion for storytelling through photos that left a lasting impression.
In 2022, I made the bold move to Minneapolis, where I decided to take the leap and start my own business in media and project management. This transition was a natural next step, combining my years of experience in the creative industry with my love for organizing, problem-solving, and managing projects from start to finish.
Today, as the founder of Heather Elaine Fotography, I specialize in capturing everything from branding and business headshots to weddings, family portraits, and milestone moments. My goal is to create images that not only meet my clients’ expectations but exceed them, with an experience that feels personal, smooth, and stress-free.
