What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Back in 2009-10 my family, like so many others, were not prepared for the financial, emotional, and mental stressors they faced with the downturn of the economy. Due to this stress, our parents lost their dream home they built, lost all their retirement savings, and had to start from scratch, again. During this time an advisor with Transamerica reached out and offered help. She provided my parents, whom nobody in the industry would talk to, with guidance and solutions on how to get out of the hole they were in. The work she did not only gave my brother and I the ability to go to college, but gave my parents control over their lives again. I have lived through the challenges of not being prepared. I have seen what it can do to a family, and it is my mission to never let anyone go through that again. If they do, I'll be there to give back the gift my family was given so many years ago and help guide them to the future they want.
