What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
I believe every child deserves the important childhood memories that comes from attending a ballgame, exploring a museum, or visiting the zoo. For too many kids in our communities, this is unattainable due to the cost of admission. Therefore, I am passionate about closing this opportunity gap so that we can inspire kids to see a bigger world around them, and achieve their full potential!

About me
I was born and raised in the small town of Mora, Minnesota by a single father who was a social worker. He dedicated his time to helping families the most in need in any way he could, and those values trickled down to me.
I received my B.S. in Psychology and Communications from the University of Minnesota/Duluth and started my career working in residential treatment centers with adjudicated and mentally ill youth. After ten years, I decided to make a career change and took a marketing role in a large, local corporation where I learned many valuable business skills. During this time, I also received my Master of Public and Nonprofit Administration from Metro State University.
Wanting to return to serving my community, I accepted the role of Regional Director at Tickets for Kids Charities. In this role, I build essential relationships to ensure we can get tickets into the hands of more than 60,000 kids each year. This includes identifying and partnering with ticket venues, training and vetting social service agencies to utilize tickets, and fundraising to grow the impact.
I live in South Minneapolis with my husband, Ryan and we have two dogs, Nora and Tilly. Tilly is a therapy dog who volunteers in shelters and the airport.
