  • Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
I've got a friend, Mike, who could be a great resource for you. His firm can help invest and manage your money, but even more importantly, Mike can help you with your financial planning. He invests a great deal of time into how you feel about taking different actions so that you can reach your goal in a manor that comfortable to you. People's feelings about their finances change as they reach different stages in life. Mike helps with the here-and-now, at the same time he makes sure they're well prepared for the future.
  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
(For several years I sold life insurance and consequently went to many funerals. I helped widows and widowers through tough times - often times hardships could have been avoided with a little planning.) I strive to help people be able to enjoy the entirety of their lives without financial worries, as well as make sure others will not suffer when they are gone.
  • Qualifying Questions: What are three questions we can ask clients to help pave the way for a referral? List them here.
Nearly everyone in America has a doctor, yet not everyone is healthy. Doctors tell you that you need to eat better and exercise, but few of us listen. We need to find the doctor who can reach us and convince us that we need to make the changes for our own well being. A Financial Advisor is much like your doctor, except he coaches you on your money, not your health. Do you have a financial advisor that listens to you and works with you in a way that makes you want to change? Does your advisor head up the team of other essential financial professionals in your life?
  • Unique Selling Proposition
For my pre-retirees and retirees, before we get to the numbers, I work with clients on the details of their life now and in the future. I even have them take a Retirement Income Style Assessment (RISA). I'm a RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) so, while almost all advisors focus on accumulating assets, I specialize in how to distribute them most efficiently, so one can max what is kept and left on.
  • About me
I began my career working with environmental engineers as a hydrologist that specialized in stream and wetland restoration. In time, I served as president of the NC Environmental Restoration Association for several years. In my second, and current career, I began working for a 501c8, then onto work with New York Life & NYLIFE Securities, and eventually to Hunter Street Investment Advisors.
