  • What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
    Harboring a deep-seated entrepreneurial spirit, I have long aspired to establish my own business that not only flourishes but also contributes significantly to the community. In 2023, fueled by this ambition, I set out to find a venture that aligned with my values, one that was deeply rooted in purpose and community service. 
     
    Meanwhile, my wife, Jami, was navigating the complexities of managing a demanding career while also coordinating care for her aging parents who live 1,200 miles away. Balancing the logistical, emotional, and financial responsibilities of ensuring her parents could age gracefully and with dignity in their own home became a reality. With one parent having to move into a skilled care facility and the other determined to remain at home, Jami and her family faced the necessary task of arranging essential and sustainable in-home care for her mother, ensuring she could age comfortably and with dignity grace in her familiar surroundings. Through this process Jami and her family were able to secure a local and reliable caregiver who not only has provided piece of mind but is also considered a friend and part of the family.
     
    This confluence of my entrepreneurial drive and Jami's personal journey with her parents illuminated a clear path forward. It led me to join the Hallmark Homecare family, a decision that seemed not just logical but also deeply fulfilling. Our shared passion for a purpose-driven business and firsthand experience with the challenges of aging care galvanized our commitment to making a difference.
     
    I am now devoted to extending the compassion, dignity, and respect every family deserves during such tender phases of life.
