Describe How You Would Like To Be Introduced Via Email
Theresa Steichen, Realtor with Keller Williams., Her real estate niche is working with clients needing a bit more specialty in certain areas. Such as a personal representative working with a loved-one's estate, or a families facing foreclosure, working toward getting them the most equity possible, working with elder persons or persons with disabilities, trying to find a home conducive to modifications where needed to allow for aging in place.
What is your "why"? Why do you do what you do?
Helping others and assisting clients during some of life's most challenging moments. Walking my clients through the complexities of a probate sale, separation, or foreclosure, providing compassionate support and guidance every step of the way. Working with seniors, executors, trustees, or a first time home buyer, every transaction is special.
Unique Selling Proposition
I sell all types of residential real estate, but have been focusing on probate sales for the past 6 years. After my parents passed, it showed me first hand how much there is to know and be prepared for with the death of a loved one.
Most recently I have added distressed sales to my focus. So many homeowners exercised their right to "forbearance" during Covid and now cannot get caught up. Foreclosure is upon them now and there is a lot of educating to do. Many people feel they are suppose to just walk away. That's about the worst thing they can do.
About me
I have lived in the Circle Pines/Blaine area for the last 21 years and love this community. My husband, Deon, and I are blessed to have his 18 year old daughter Kassity, live with us while finishing high school at Centennial High School. We have an adorable Golden Doodle, Belle Belle, who keeps us all active.
I enjoy volunteering and visit hospice patients weekly through Our Lady of Peace Hospice Center. I deliver Meals on Wheels and am part of the Culture Committee through Keller Williams. This committee is in charge of outreach to those in need and organizing group volunteer opportunities primarily in Anoka County.
Before real estate, my back ground was in human services; I continue to work with persons with developmental disabilities on a regular basis and have been working with the same gentlemen now for the last 12 years.
I love to travel, mostly by car. Not because I don't like to fly, but the journey is part of the vacation for me. Taking backroads when possible and discovering quaint little towns. We go camping several times a year. Reading, cribbage, dominos, music. Keeping in touch with others: past clients, friends of my parents, my elementary school, high school friends from back home. I love to host for family events/holidays. Both Deon & I have large families and we usually host the gatherings.
