I have seen and experienced "First Hand" what a Natural Disaster or Catastrophe can do to individuals and communities. There is nothing better than seeing a look of relief and hope on the face of a family during one of those chaotic events when they know that you have their back and everything will eventually be OK and that they are not alone.
About me
Raised in Port Neches, Tx I started in the Grocery Business right out of high school and over a 10 yr period working my way into management. Moved into several other sales jobs until starting my career in Insurance (1989) as a Captive Agent selling Life, Health, Investments along with Personal Lines (home, auto, boats, etc...). In 2004 I helped to start Paragon Independent Insurance Agencies with a long-time childhood friend and became an Independent agent. As a result of Hurricane Rita in 2005 I relocated my office to The Woodlands, Tx January 1, 2006. I Joined The Woodlands Chamber in March along with a few other networking groups that same year developing a solid referral source.
Met my current wife at a Chamber event, and shortly thereafter realized that Community Service and Involvement was key to being successful in Montgomery County. I am a past board member of Bridgewood Farms, a Leadership Montgomery County Alumni (2013 Graduate), and current board member for The Woodlands Area Chamber.
I enjoy working with, learning about and helping various local non-profits. I currently host the monthly HELLO WOODLANDS NON-PROFIT of the MONTH video highlight featuring a local non-profit which is paired with an article and published by Hello Woodlands' website and newsletter.
Married my wife, Dawn Candy, in 2012 and now reside in Oak Ridge North. We have 7 grandchildren.
